Next in our RC Hub Highlights series, I'm going to show you four resources from the fourth category.. Living a Healthier Life. You can access each of these categories on The Recovery College Website under the RC Hub tab. You can download any of these resources and save for later!
Through this series we are shining a light on the amazing resources you can access on the Hub to help you on your recovery journey.
The RC Hub is a mental health, recovery, health and wellbeing resource library, for people living in the Black Country. It is ever-growing with new activities, leaflets, videos and other tools to help you.
Here are four resources that you may find useful:
1. Hub of Hope (Google & Apple) is an app available on Google Play and App Store. They also have a website. The Hub of Hope is the UK's leading mental health support database. It is provided by national mental health charity, Chasing the Stigma, and brings local, national, peer, community, charity, private and NHS mental health support and services together in one place. It is a great app to have installed incase you need it.
2. BetterSleep (Google & Apple) is another app that is available on Google Play and App store. It is a meditation and sleep tracking app. "The BetterSleep app is designed to help people improve their sleep quality and overall well-being by providing a range of tools, content, and features aimed at enhancing sleep habits and promoting restful nights."
3. My Wellbeing & Self care Activity Pack Black Country Healthcare Trust created the Wellbeing and Self Care Activity Pack with tips and tricks for Mindfulness, Wellbeing, it also offers you a way to occupy your mind with word searches, crossword, colouring worksheets.
4. Action for Happiness Action for Happiness aim is to help people create a happier world, with a culture that prioritises happiness and kindness. On their website they have a great tab called 'Take Action' where you can access Online Coaching, Inspiring Talks, Podcasts and Videos on a variety of topics.
