Men's Health Week: Day 2 - The Can Do Challenge!

    Can Do Challenge!

Day 2 of Men's Health Week sees us embrace the Can Do Challenge!

    This stands for:

    Connect
Call an old friend over the phone or drop them a text. Connection is so important if you have lost your sense of belonging, or if you feel you don't know who to talk to. Pick up where you left off, a good friend is never far away, and the laughs you'll share will remind you of better times and of good times to come.

    Active:
There are heaps of  activities for you to take up to keep yourself active and stress free. A walk in the park or in your favourite forest, a dip in the pool after work, or even a dance. You don't need to hit the club when there's a dancefloor at home - in the kitchen, the bedroom, or the living room. Just be sure to remove anything breakable if you plan to get your sweat on!

    Notice:
Step away from your phone, your tablet, your phone or your TV, and just take a moment in nature. Whether that's standing on a patch of grass, looking up at the sky, or just listening to the world go by without the distraction of ever - present digital demands.

    Discover:
Time to learn a new skill. Hit the library, or a YouTube tutorial. Learn how to grow those veg you're so keen on eating, or pick up a paintbrush pen or pencil and follow in the footsteps of the masters. There is a wealth of knowledge out there that will allow you to upskill for the low low price of free! Don't be afraid to apply yourself.

    Lastly....

    Offer:
Your skills and time by volunteering in the community with causes that are close to your heart. Food banks, shops, galleries, community centres, churches... the list is endless. Do something for someone else and feel the mutual benefits!
