When it comes to inclusion, neurodiversity refers to a world where neurological differences are recognised and respected as all other human variations.

    What is Neurodiversity Celebration Week?

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.

Its purpose is to help the world to understand, value and celebrate the talents of neurodiverse minds.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week was founded by Sienna Castellon:

Our mission is to change the narrative. Working together with schools, universities, and organisations, we aim to:

    •  Increase acceptance and understanding
    • Provide education
    • Celebrate Neurodiversity

During the week there is a packed schedule of webinars and panel discussions with inspirational guest speakers from a range of backgrounds and professions. All events are free of charge and open to all. Please visit the Neurodiversity website for more information on these events. https://www.neurodiversityweek.com/events

At the Recovery College we take a co-production approach, meaning people with personal experience, including people overcoming distress and supporters (family members and friends) work in respectful partnerships with professionals to co-design, co-deliver and co-evaluate all aspects of the college.

We have co-production opportunities available for our students, including an Autism Peer-Support Workshop and Support Group. If you are interested in this please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 0121 543 4061.
