We're excited to launch a new course at The Recovery College for the Black Country.

Writing for Self-Expression has been co-produced by The Royal Literary Fund.

We all struggle to express ourselves sometimes and find the right words. Writing for Self-Expression is about finding the words to express what you're feeling and thinking.

A professional writer from the Royal Literary Fund will guide you through this course.

    • listen to some short, themed poems they have specially selected
    • Discuss how the words feel and sound to you
    • Be provided some gentle writing prompts to help you express yourself

Here is some previous feedback from the course"When you're struggling with mental health, it gives you confidence, a focus on both something outside your mind and a way to process what's in your mind."

This course will be held Face to Face at Sandwell Recovery College, Oldbury starting 10th April.
