DY1 Open Day & World Mental Health Day

DY1 Open Day in Conjunction with World Mental Health Day

The Recovery College for the Black Country is excited to announce a new open day to welcome prospective students to their life-changing courses, to coincide with World Mental Health Day.

The Recovery College provides an educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health. Courses at the college celebrate people's successes and build on existing skills and strategies rather than highlighting problems or failures. The Recovery College works on the belief that learning together makes students stronger and supports their recovery.

The team will be holding their next open day in Dudley on Thursday 10 October, which takes place at the team's Dudley base at DY1 Community Centre, Stafford Street, Dudley, DY1 1SA, from 10am to 12pm.

During the open day, attendees will have the opportunity to attend a short information session about the Recovery College and its offerings, participate in a Q&A session to address any questions or concerns; join a taster session led by members of the college's facilitator team and enjoy refreshments and network with other attendees.

The team will also be celebrating World Mental Health Day with a range of resources and helpful pointers.

No need to book, just turn up and enjoy the experience!

If you or someone you may be accompanying has any particular access needs please contact the college: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so we can make suitable adjustments.
