Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign to celebrate and recognise the vital contribution made by the UK's 5.7 million carers.
This year Carers Week is from 10th-16th June.
Carers Week aims to highlight the challenges faced by carers, and recognise the outstanding contribution that unpaid carers make to their families, friends and communities up and down the UK.
This year the theme is 'Putting Carers on the Map' highlighting the invaluable contributions of carers across the UK and ensuring their voices are heard loud and clear. Millions of people across the UK care, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health condition or addiction cannot cope without their support.
