Recently, you may have seen the Recovery College mentioning our new Nature Prescribing course and wondered - just what is it?
For starters, it's a brand new course we are very excited to introduce to prospective students in September. This course will take us through the magical season of Autumn, right up to the end of November.
Here's what you can expect:
🍁Learn to connect to moments in nature that will actively improve your mood and awareness.
🍀Get involved in accessible adventures, use practical tools and take full advantage of a seasonal pack of engaging activities from the RSPB
🍃Focus on noticing nature and how your relationship to it matters
Nature prescribing is a guided conversation that takes place between the session facilitators and students. This encourages students to really notice the natural world around them and find ways to improve their mental and physical health through a deeper connection with nature. We will be providing activities that are accessible anywhere. This isn't a challenge, it's a personal invitation to feel closer to nature.
This course will be running from our Walsall and Wolverhampton bases.
