Invitation to Moodle Pilot for Current RC Students

Calling all current students at the Recovery College! We are running a Pilot programme for our Moodle platform from October 2025, with full training provided from August onwards.

What is Moodle?

Moodle is a popular Learning Management System (LMS), that is currently utilised by many colleges and universities in the United Kingdom and across the world, to support organisations like the Recovery College to deliver learning opportunities on line, that can be accessed by a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

Here's a run down of some of the benefits: 

• Enable 24/7 access to learning and recovery resources as requested by our students
• Moodle aims to enhance our students learning and recovery experience by using technology such as your phone, laptop, PC etc
• Provides easy access to the workbooks, resources, zoom links, delivery dates for the courses you are enrolled on
• Enables you to upload your own recovery learning resources to Moodle
• Let's you view video based Taster Sessions of courses
• Provides access to additional resources that will encourage and help you with your learning and recovery outside of the Recovery College hours
• Enable you to see your achievements at a glance

The Recovery College is an educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health.

All of our sessions are created with people who have lived experience of challenges with their own mental health along with carers and healthcare professionals.

You do not need any formal qualifications or experience to attend the college. All of our courses are free of charge and open to anyone, aged 18 and over.
