The Marketing Team is happy to present all the exciting things happening at the Recovery College. And there is always something new happening. Today we're talking with Charlotte, one of our marketing team heroes! 

1) What is your job role and what subjects do you cover?

My job role is a marketing officer where I work alongside the marketing team at the Recovery College. My role consists of promoting and advertising of the college through social media platforms and attending public events all across the Black Country, as well as administrative tasks. My daily tasks entail checking social media, scheduling content for the upcoming week, planning for awareness days/attending events, creating promotional materials using MS Office/Canva as well as creating zoom backgrounds. Along with attending staff and marketing meetings.

2) Name something you love about working at the Recovery College.

What I love about working at the recovery college is meeting and connecting with others through both the college and events too. One more thing that I love and feel passionate about is attending events with the marketing team to help spread awareness and support available for mental health.

3) What's next? 

I always look forward to the end of term celebrations every term as it's always exciting to be part of a team that helps to put it all together. To see all the artwork, poetry, performances and how many talented students we have.

A great time for all staff and students to come together and reflect back on the term.
