So, What is the RC Hub?
The RC Hub is a mental health, recovery, health and wellbeing resource library, for people living in the Black Country. It is ever-growing with new activities, leaflets, videos and other tools to help you.
You can access all of our resources for free, download and save for later! Through this series we are shining a light on the amazing resources you can access on the Hub to help you on your recovery journey.

Each tab is broken down into 4 categories to help you find what you are looking for, Apps, Websites, Guides and Leaflets and Videos.
In our Website Tab you can find national and local groups that host group sessions across the Black Country that can provide guidance/support on a range of things such as your physical and mental health, housing, finances and you can find groups where you can just sit and have a natter and make new friends.
Starting off with the Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust are an anti-poverty charity and community of food banks. They work together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank to survive, while providing food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on. At a Trussell Trust Food Bank, You'll receive a warm welcome in a safe environment. They have volunteers who will have a friendly chat while your parcel is prepared and can point you to further support such as a local debt advice service or mental health support. Next, Just Straight Talk - "Just Straight Talk (JST) has over 10 years' experience of providing services within The Black Country for people including those long term unemployed, economically inactive and people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis and the complex systems in place." Blooming Menopause is a group held at Portway Lifestyle Centre in Oldbury, join the group for a cuppa and cake and chat with others experiencing menopause! They are hosting monthly events in October, November and December. They welcome all ages, all genders, and all walks of life. To register for the events click here: Blooming Menopause Events
Autism West Midlands are the leading charity in the West Midlands for people on the autism spectrum. They use their expertise to enrich the lives of autistic people and those who love and care for them.
There are many ways they can provide support:
- They support autistic people to live as independently as possible, in residential care, or in their own or the family home
- They provide a free autism information helpline offering a first point of contact for families and individuals in crisis
- They enable adults to access support within their local community to build resilience, confidence, and skills to actively participate in society
- They offer training to parents, professionals and individuals and much more!

The Recovery College is an educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health.
All of our sessions are created with people who have lived experience of challenges with their own mental health along with carers and healthcare professionals.
You do not need any formal qualifications or experience to attend the college. All of our courses are free of charge and open to anyone, aged 18 and over.
