In this edition read about Dudley MP Sonia Kumar's recent visit to our Recovery College in Dudley (Page 4) along with an overview of the Recovery College commissioning project and the positive response from the community.

The commissioning project was created to tackle health inequalities and social exclusion. Through this initiative we commissioned over 20 Black Country organisations to deliver life-changing courses meeting people where they are, physically, culturally and emotionally.

The Recovery College is an educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health.
All of our sessions are created with people who have lived experience of challenges with their own mental health along with carers and healthcare professionals.
You do not need any formal qualifications or experience to attend the college. All of our courses are free of charge and open to anyone, aged 18 and over.
