Closing Ceremony for Knife Angel in Sandwell
This event will mark the end of a powerful month of awareness, reflection, and commitment to tackling knife crime in Sandwell.
Tuesday 29th October 2024
Time: 4pm - 6pm
Location: Oldbury Civic Square, Sandwell
The ceremony will include special speeches, presentations of the Safer Sandwell Partnership Impact Through Imagery Award, T-shirt design competition and recognition of our Anti-Violence Champions. We will also feature a display of photos from the Knife Angel photography competition and a performance by local artists.
All members of the public are welcome to attend the closing ceremony and you can still visit the Knife Angel Statue in the upcoming days before the closing ceremony.

The Recovery College is an educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health.
All of our sessions are created with people who have lived experience of challenges with their own mental health along with carers and healthcare professionals.
You do not need any formal qualifications or experience to attend the college. All of our courses are free of charge and open to anyone, aged 18 and over.
