    October at The Recovery College

This month at The Recovery College:

    • The Autumn Term is now in full swing, with courses at all four bases!
    • We raised awareness for World Mental Health Day, Black History Month and World Menopause Day.
    • On World Mental Health Day our Staff wore something Green for Mental Health.
    • We held 4 successful Open Days across our four bases - Thank you to those who attended and we look forward to seeing you around the RC!
    • Our Taster Sessions started this week, this is a great way to get a taste of a course before you choose your courses for next term.
    • Our Marketing Team had a very busy month attending events such as the Trust AGM (Annual General Meeting), delivering information sessions at Dorothy Parkes Centre and many more!

Gardening wrapped up for the Winter at our bases, We are making some great progress in our Gardens and Allotments across the Black Country. Don't worry we will be back Gardening soon!

It is great to see many students on our Health Walks which take place throughout the year! Make sure you wrap up warm as we approach the Winter Months.

We have our End of Term Celebration at the end of a November where we celebrate our students and all the work they have done throughout the term. We have musical performances, readings and artwork displayed. This celebration takes place via Zoom. If you are a current student and would like to have any of your work displayed, please get in touch with the college.
