On this day in the United Kingdom, We mark Armistice Day with a Two Minute Silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month.
Many people across the UK wear Poppies. The red poppy is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. People take part whatever their political or religious beliefs and the poppy remains a humble, poignant symbol of Remembrance and hope.
The National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in London is held on Remembrance Sunday, The service is attended by senior members of the Royal Family, including His Majesty The King, HM Government and features a March Past involving 10,000 veterans.

Two of our staff team Stuart and Zak were delighted to be invited to Walsall FC Remembrance Fixture on Saturday, where they were able to talk to fans about The Recovery College and how we support the community in Walsall. They were able to share the news of our brand new course - Moving Forwards: Building a Brighter Future, a course co-produced by Help for Heroes to support those who have served in the Armed Forces.

The Recovery College is an educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health.
All of our sessions are created with people who have lived experience of challenges with their own mental health along with carers and healthcare professionals.
You do not need any formal qualifications or experience to attend the college. All of our courses are free of charge and open to anyone, aged 18 and over.
