In our Spring Term we piloted a brand new course to the college called 'Writing for Self-Expression, a concept created by The Royal Literary Fund. The course aims to help you discover your voice and explore your creativity.
We all struggle to express ourselves sometimes and find the right words. Writing for Self Expression is about finding the words to express what you're feeling and thinking.
Each session is led by a professional writer, in Spring Term we were joined by Meg Sanders.
Some of the feedback written by students includes:
“It was beautiful, full of kindness, inquisitiveness, hope and joy. Thank you so much.”
"Great course, I learnt many new writing techniques."
"I wish the course was longer and would love to do it again."
After a successful launch in the Spring Term we are excited to be hosting this course again with a professional writer from the Royal Literary Fund. The course will start Friday 18th September for 4 sessions at our Sandwell Recovery College Quayside House.
