In 2026, the theme is ‘supporting men and boys’ through a prevention focus on mental health and suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer.
Together, we can also raise awareness, start and normalise conversations about mental health, end the stigma that surrounds it and enable people to access support if or when they need it.
Please remember, that whilst this is an important awareness date, building positive mental health in and through work should be something we focus on every day of the year.
1 in 8 men in the UK experience a common mental health problem such as anxiety, depression, or stress
Movember is a global campaign in November that encourages men to grow moustaches (“Mo’s”) and raise awareness for men’s health.
It aims to break the stigma around men’s health, spark conversations, and promote early checks and support.
Movember started in Australia in 2003, when a group of friends grew moustaches to raise awareness of prostate cancer and depression. Since then, it has become a worldwide movement with millions of supporters.
