    November-Recap

It's been a great month here at The Recovery College, Here's a look back at the highlights from November:

    •  We celebrated the incredible achievements of Dawn, one of our facilitators, and Sarah, one of our Learning Support Assistants as they have passed their level four certificates in education and training!
    • We celebrated Diwali with the trust's Spiritual Care Team
    • We visited the Shree Krishna Hindu Temple in West Bromwich. It was great to learn more about the Hindu faith, the history of the temple and enjoy some fabulous Samosas.
    • Our End of Term Celebration was a huge success with musical performances, Student Work, Ravi's Riddles and even Ed's Dog Coco took part!
    • Zak and Stuart attended Walsall FC as part of their Remembrance Day fixture to promote The Recovery College and our brand new course Moving Forwards: Building a Brighter Future - a course for those who have served in the Armed Forces.
    • Marketing Team attended many events, some examples are the Patient Engagement Session at Portway Family Practice and Older workers week, health & wellbeing event at Let's Chat Hub in West Bromwich.
    • Our Learning Support Assistants kicked off their brand new workshops! We have already had some great feedback from students letting us know how much they are enjoying them. Great Job LSAs!
    • We acknowledged many National Days such as Men's Health Month, Islamophobia Awareness Day, Armistice Day and more.
