Men's Health Week: Day 3 - Recognising the Signs

Men's Health Week continues! Today we are considering how to identify mental health challenges in men.

This can broadly fall under the following categories: Behaviour, Emotional Changes, and Physical Symptoms

Behaviour:
Have you noticed any changes lately, within yourself or with your male friends? This could include:

Withdrawing from social activities
Neglecting personal hygiene
Loss of interest in hobbies

Emotional Changes:  Have you began to feel any of the following for a longer than usual time?

Sadness
Loss of self esteem
Irritation
Feeling hopeless
Being impatient

Physical Symptoms: Have you encountered any of the following lately - Fatigue, headaches, digestive issues and insomnia?

If you identify any of these issues, whether purely physical or in a combination of the above (as is so often the case), then it's time to start taking some steps towards feeling better.
