    Hi Everyone, 

    We hope you all had a lovely summer and enjoyed the sunshine. With autumn just round the corner we have been really busy here at The Recovery College getting everything ready for next term, and we can't wait to see you all. πŸ‚ 

    Summer Celebration β˜€οΈ  

    We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended our Summer Celebration back in July. It was great to see all your performances and artwork, but also it allowed us time to reflect back on the term and celebrate.

    The Return of Face to Face Courses 

    Commencing a new term we are happy to announce that we will be returning some of our face to face courses, these will be our Recover Together's. There will also be the option of virtual Recover Together's as well. Our gardening and Health walks will be continuing as of normal. If you have any queries about this or our courses be sure to contact us on the following.

    New Staff Members 

    As we enter the Autumn term we welcome a number of new staff members to our team here at The Recovery College, you may have already met some during courses but if you haven't already, be sure to say hello when you do they're a friendly bunch!

    Events 

    This summer our team visited:

    • Reedswood Park, in Walsall for the Walsall Healthy Spaces 'Tri-It Event.' 
    •  The Black Country Job Support - Over 50s Wellbeing and Skills Event at Walsall College. 

    As well as Stourbridge Job Centre to talk about the service and support we offer and the areas we cover.

    In the upcoming term we will also be doing drop-in's to your local hospitals & Job Centre's to raise awareness of what The Recovery College service does and support that we offer. This will also give the opportunity for you to speak to our team with any questions or queries you may have, so keep an eye on our socials and be sure pop in and have chat with our team and say hello.
