World Suicide Prevention Day 2024

Sometimes the hardest words to say are the most important.

This year's World Suicide Prevention Day campaign carries a crucial message: "Change the Narrative on Suicide."

At The Recovery College, we feel it is important to signpost and share different organisations across the Black Country and national organisations that can support you in low moments.

"Sometimes the hardest words to say are the most important. By having more open conversations, we give people the chance to express how they feel and get the support they need. It could even save a life. World Suicide Prevention Day is a chance for us all to come together, raise awareness, and take meaningful steps towards preventing suicide and supporting those who may be struggling to cope." - The Samaritans

Access The Samaritans here: The Samaritans Website to learn more about how you can support those experiencing suicidal thoughts.
