Ravi's Message for Mental Health Awareness Week 2024

We hope you are enjoying the blog posts so far this week. Next up is Ravi who is one of our fabulous facilitators here at The Recovery College.  We are grateful to have so many staff members willing to share their story and how they find Moments for Movement!

Ravi says -

'To me fitness is more than just a routine, it's a lifestyle that includes both physical and mental wellbeing. Dedication to daily training sessions, each lasting at least an hour, provides me with the opportunity to not only improve my physical health but also sharpen my mental focus and overall wellbeing.

Fitness extends beyond gym workouts, it can be as basic as walking to the supermarket, taking the dog for a walk, cycling, running or hiking. It includes any physical activity that involves movement of the body.'

Thank you Ravi for reminding us that fitness doesn't have to be an intense workout in the gym, it could be as simple as a walk around your local neighbourhood.
