Walking is one of the best exercises for your health and it's FREE!

A good walk can do wonders for your mental wellbeing in fact, being active has a whole range of benefits It improves self-perception and self-esteem, mood and sleep quality, and it reduces stress, anxiety and fatigue.

In older people, staying active can improve cognitive function, memory, attention and processing speed, and reduce the risk of cognitive decline and dementia.

A health walk combines gentle walking with conversation, promoting physical activity and social wellbeing. Sometimes incorporating guided discussions, it encourages mindfulness, connections and overall health in a relaxed outdoor setting.
