There are more than half a million people in the UK living with autism, an invisible, misunderstood and lonely neuro-diverse difference. 60,000 live in the West Midlands. Autism is a lifelong disability which affects how a person makes sense of the world, processes information and relates to other people.
This workshop will look at the core features and characteristics of autism and the differences between neurotypical and neurodiverse people in different situations such as in the workplace and relationships, as well as coping mechanisms.
