    (Four Week Course)

    This course will help you explore different techniques and art materials as a means of self-expression in creative way.

    Writing down or visually recording your thoughts and feelings helps you understand them more clearly and allows you to learn more about yourself.

    Keeping a journal can help you gain control of your emotions and improve your mental health and wellbeing.

    Session Outcomes:

    • At the end of the sessions, you will have created a space where you can let loose and explore with the use of colours, shapes, lines and words.
    • You will be able to use a variety of techniques and art materials for creative expression and will have made a start on creating your own unique and personal journal.
    • You will have an understanding of how journaling can be used to monitor and aid recovery.

    • Journal/notebook
    • Scissors
    • Glue
    • Magazines
    • Pens/pencils (coloured)

    • Wallpaper samples
    • Stickers
    • Washi tape
    • “Arty” bits
    • Coloured/patterned paper
