It's Stress Awareness Month, observed every April since 1992, dedicated to increasing public awareness about the causes and cures of stress. The Stress Management Society's mission is to help individuals and organisations recognise and reduce stress, fostering a happier, healthier, and more resilient world.

The theme for 2025 is #LeadWithLove. It is a powerful call to action rooted in the principles of Unconditional Positive Regard. This theme encourages us to approach ourselves and others with kindness, compassion, and acceptance, no matter the challenges we face.  In today's world, where stress often thrives love is the universal force capable of shifting the narrative. By choosing love as our starting point, we embrace empathy, prioritize understanding, and can create positive change in every interaction.

There are a number of ways you can participate in Stress Awareness Month and feel the benefits of it:

  • You can inspire others to lead with love and take action for better mental health
  • Educate yourself on the causes of stress and how it impacts your health.
  • Share and use resources, tips, and techniques to manage stress and improve your well-being.
  • Join a community of like-minded individuals all working to reduce stress and promote healthier living.
