The Recovery College is 10 - Film

The Recovery College for the Black Country is 10!

To celebrate 10 Years of The Recovery College for the Black Country we sat down with past and present members of our team along with Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust executives to reflect on their experiences and the impact of The Recovery College over the last decade.

Over the past decade, the Recovery College has undergone remarkable transformation. As part of Community Transformation, the service has expanded to Dudley, Walsall, and Wolverhampton, building on the flagship centre in Sandwell. Throughout this time, the College has continued to rise to challenges, from navigating the lockdowns to evolving its digital delivery, ensuring learning and recovery remain accessible to all.

Recovery College Principal and Operational Manager Kerry Wilkes said: "Looking ahead, the College's dedicated team of staff and volunteers remains committed to helping people thrive, recover, connect, and achieve. Witnessing students overcome barriers and reach their goals is a testament to the enduring importance of the College's ethos and mission. Here's to celebrating ten incredible years and many more to come!"
