Next in our RC Hub Highlights series, I'm going to show you three resources from our next category - Accessing Help in My Community. You can access all of our resources for free, download and save for later! Through this series we are shining a light on the amazing resources you can access on the Hub to help you on your recovery journey.
The RC Hub is a mental health, recovery, health and wellbeing resource library, for people living in the Black Country. It is ever-growing with new activities, leaflets, videos and other tools to help you.
Each tab is broken down into 4 categories to help you find what you are looking for, Apps, Websites, Guides and Leaflets and Videos.
1. Find a community support group or organisation (therecoverycollege.co.uk) This is an easy way to find a community group close to you! By typing in your postcode you can find contact information and locations for a variety of local community groups and organisations.
2. Too Good To Go: End Food Waste (Apple) (therecoverycollege.co.uk) Too Good To Go is an app available on Google Play and App Store to help local restaurants and cafes end food waste. They offer unwanted food near the expiry date for a very reasonable price to stop food being thrown away. You can get some great bargains on there!
3. Sandwell All Age Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Directory April 2024 (therecoverycollege.co.uk) We have resources for lots of areas of the Black Country. Here is one example for Sandwell, this is a directory of emotional wellbeing and mental health support for anyone living in Sandwell.
We are always finding new resources and uploading them straight to the Recovery College Hub, make sure you check the hub for any new resources that might pop up.
There are so many resources, there is something for everyone. Have a look and let us know what you think of the RC Hub.
