At the Recovery College our team is really tightly knit, with plenty of understanding and caring individuals dedicated to your recovery journey. Today get to know one of our lead facilitators Charlotte!
What is your job role?
I work as one of the lead facilitators for the Recovery College. The role involves a lot of co-ordinating, working on scheduling our timetables and co-ordinating who is delivering on what sessions. I also deliver sessions which I absolutely love! As part of the curriculum team we are working really hard to offer the highest quality and consistent service that we can and part of my role is working on this, looking at our processes and how we can improve them. I am currently working on a course review, looking at our existing courses and reviewing if/how we could improve them for our students.
What do you enjoy?
I actually really enjoy organising things so that's helpful in this role! I really enjoy the opportunities I have in the role to problem-solve and explore the ways in which we can continue to improve, learn and grow our curriculum. I love working as part of the recovery college team and enjoy delivering and the opportunities to be in sessions with students. What are you looking forward to for the upcoming term?
I am looking forward to the start of our new nature prescriptions sessions in partnership with the RSPB, I feel passionately about how helpful connecting to nature can be for our wellbeing and summer term feels like a great time to start it!
Thank you Charlotte for sharing with us.
