Today our Principal Kerry and Deputy Principal Liane took action as they wrapped up two days of training of Mental Health First Aid.

They spent two wonderful days at our Walsall YMCA base delivering Adult Mental Health First Aid training. The training was delivered to 13 colleagues from Hallam Street, WorkWell (Employment and Recovery), Reflexions, CAMHS, Safeguarding Children and student nurses.

We now have 13 more MHFAiders to add to the growing list within the Black Country Healthcare NHS  Foundation Trust, which means…

13 more avenues of support, 13 more staff equipped with the resources and knowledge to spot the signs and symptoms of poor mental health and sign post, and most importantly 13 more friendly & approachable individuals that you can trust to listen and really value your thoughts and feelings 💚
