What have we been up to in the month of March?

As the weather has improved it's been great to get back out in the sun and use our Garden areas. The course is in full swing across our 4 bases and staff and students are working hard to make these spaces amazing.

if you are interested in gardening, as a beginner or an expert and are particularly green fingered please sign up for our Gardening course next term! It would be great to see you there.

Our Marketing team have been travelling across the Black Country attending events in Tipton, Sandwell, Wolverhampton and many more. The timetable has been completed and shared by email and to our website.

The Facilitators have been delivering our courses each week, planning curriculum and new co-production opportunities!

Our Learning Support Assistants have been stepping in to help facilitate our courses, welcoming new students and planning their end of term workshops.

The whole team has been provided training from Papyrus https://www.papyrus-uk.org/ "PAPYRUS exists to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives, by shattering the stigma surrounding suicide and equipping young people and their communities with the skills to recognise and respond to emotional distress. We believe that no young person should have to struggle alone with thoughts of suicide."

Our most recent faith visit was a great success! It was good to visit Top Church in Dudley and explore the historic grounds of this church. We schedule these visits every term and these trips are an opportunity to develop more understanding about different faith and belief perspective, ask questions, hear from people who use the buildings and enjoy time out and about together in these beautiful spaces. Watch this space for more information on our next visit.
