Hello and Welcome to our Autumn Term at The Recovery College.

Welcome back to our students and a warm welcome to anyone joining us for the first time!

Our Staff Team have been working hard over the summer break to prepare for the Autumn Term...

Our Facilitators have been finalising new courses, and preparing for delivery, Our Admin Team have spent many hours processing your enrolments.

Our Learning Support Assistants have been providing support in Recover Together sessions and providing 1-1s and our Marketing Team have continued to spread word of The Recovery College far and wide across the Black Country.

This Autumn Term We are excited to relaunch our Basic Art course, our co-production group have spent time diving into our Basic Art course and redesigning it and have done a fabulous job! Creative Writing 2 is a new course delving deeper into Creative Writing, exploring different genres, writing styles and techniques.

We are also launching our new course, Moving Forwards: Building a Brighter Future. This course is aimed at the Armed Forces Community, in particular individuals that have previously served or are currently or about to transition into civilian life. If you or someone you know may be interested in this course please get in touch.

Towards the end of term, Christmas Crafts, an online course where you can make a range of Christmas decorations and gifts suitable for all. Come along and join in the festive fun, learning new skills and connecting with others!

Did you know we have a Facebook Community Group for students at The Recovery College? In this group you can make new friends, share news and learn about new opportunities within the Recovery College such as volunteering, co-production groups and more.

The Recovery College is an educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health.

All of our sessions are created with people who have lived experience of challenges with their own mental health along with carers and healthcare professionals.

You do not need any formal qualifications or experience to attend the college. All of our courses are free of charge and open to anyone, aged 18 and over.
