WorkWell is a service designed to support anyone with a health condition or disability to either:

• Return/Remain in work
• Find and Access work
• Refer or signpost into various services available in your local area.

WorkWell will help individuals to build a personalised support plan based off their current needs, health conditions/disabilities and additional support that may be needed and then work together with organisations across the Black Country to provide joined up support for that individual.

During an individual’s referral into WorkWell additional/alternative support needs may be identified that may also support individuals. WorkWell aims to act as a single point of access to an individual’s health related support needs.

This service is a free, voluntary service, which aims to support people with mental health and physical health conditions to find and sustain paid employment. To be considered for the programme, you must be: over 16 years old, registered with a GP within Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire, motivated to find and retain meaningful employment and must have a defined/self-defined health condition.

The IPS Employment Service provides support across the Black Country to individuals who wish to enter some form of paid employment (part or full-time) or those who wish to change their employment to better suit their needs.

Who can access this service?

They support individuals who are open to secondary care mental health services in the Black Country. This applies to anyone who is under the care of a psychiatrist and may have a care co-ordinator such as a community psychiatric nurse or an occupational therapist.

How can the service help you?

Our vocational specialists will provide you with 1:1 support to achieve your job goal. They can help you identify the job you want, search and apply for jobs, offer guidance, and support you in your place of work.
