In the recovery college we take a co-production approach, meaning people with personal experience, including people overcoming distress and supporters (family members and friends) work in respectful partnerships with professionals to co-design, co-deliver and co-evaluate all aspects of the college.

Face to face delivery for 4 weeks in community venues from Monday to Wednesday 10-1 with online work to be completed at learners’ convenience.

Knowledge of working in different roles in the cleaning industry.

You will learn about customer service and we also have 4 weeks wrap around support to improve your confidence, communication skills, time management, teamworking, CV and interview skills

Once you have successfully gained employment you will be progressed onto Phase 2 of our programme.

Phase 2

You have the opportunity to gain a free Level 2 qualification in the following:

• Information, Advice or Guidance
• Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
• Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection in a Health Care Setting

SWAP (Sector-based Work Academy Programmes) is an opportunity to learn new skills and get experience of working in a particular industry. The programme is to help jobseekers, who are claiming either Universal Credit, Jobseekers Allowance or ESA to build confidence, improve job prospects and enhance CV’s.

The employer welcomes anyone who is interested to apply. This can include health problems, mental health problems and also people with Criminal Records (taken on a case by case).

There is lots of flexibility with hours so people can do a minimum of 8hrs all the way to full-time if they want.
