<p>Tough Enough To Care are offering free mental health and emotional wellbeing training for you. Funded by Thrive Together, this project offers: Mental Health awareness training sessions 12 week programme to develop personal empowerment</p>
<p>Regular Peer to Peer Support groups</p>
<p>Access to a growing network of Veteran Ambassadors Veterans, family members and carers can access the project for FREE via:</p>

           <media:description type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Talking about your mental health can be difficult, and it can be especially tough to reach out and ask for help in times of crisis.&nbsp; Stigma and discrimination still cloud many people’s perceptions of poor mental health and mental illness, and it can be easy to worry about assumptions and judgements that might follow after reaching out for support.&nbsp; Furthermore, it can be hard to know what to look for if someone is experiencing a dip in their wellbeing, or what to say when someone says “actually, I’m not ok”.&nbsp; It can feel like a huge pressure to say the right thing and offer the right support, and know where to suggest people turn to for help.</p>
<p>At Black Country Healthcare, our aim is to train as many people as we can with the skills to support and signpost anyone having a tough time with their mental health, or who might be at crisis point. Our training aims to raise awareness, which helps to break down stigma, as well as to spot early warning signs to ensure early intervention. This in turn helps to make a conversation around mental health more organic, and nurtures a safe environment where people&nbsp;feel comfortable to open up and talk.<br /><br />This document provides invaluable mental health training opportunities directed at individuals, organisations and charities.</p>]]></media:description>
