Samaritans Self-Help app will be closing on Wednesday 22 May

Samaritans Self-Help was launched during the pandemic to support people who were unable to access emotional support through our listening services, and we are so pleased we were able to provide the service to people who needed it. Now it's time to put our focus into improving our listening service to continue to reach those who are struggling to cope.

After 22 May, the Self-Help app website will no longer be accessible at selfhelp.samaritans.org and you will not be able to log into your account. Once the app has closed, you will not be able to recover any text or media that you have not saved elsewhere. Before this date, please log on to save your safety plan and any other content that you have stored on your account that you wish to keep. You can make a written copy of your safety plan or download our printable safety plan for future use.
